This is from the first release of the train sets which was in 1980.

(Actually purchase on the 10th May 1980, original sales receipt included)

The excellent condition of this set cannot be over stated.

The engine has not been run, it is as clean and as new as the day it was made.

There is no damage to the engine and it shows no sign of use.

The wagons are also very near perfect having no signs of use. The wheels have not been run on a track, the body paint is not chipped and is in original condition. The easily damaged polystyrene logs are also as new.

All couplings are intact.

The unused Burner tray is present as is a full set of track (16 curves & 2 straights)

The oil bottle is missing this was probably removed as they tend to leak. The uncoupling hook is also missing but they are cheap and easy to replace (source avaiable on request).
